Searching for a Record

To begin a search, bring up the search screen by doing one of the following:

From the main menu select View>Find

Or

If you are in the grid (or the grid has focus) .. Press F3

In the text boxes on the top of this form you begin typing what you are searching for.

If you are searching an Item ID use the text field on the left, if you are searching using a word that is in the title of the item use the text field on the right.

You can select an item by clicking on the title or item ID in the lists below your input fields.

If you select a record it will be displayed in the main form.  Remember to click the refresh button to restore a full record view.
